Joined the Club

I have had it pretty easy so far. I am only sick to my stomach. No actual throwing up, up to this point. I finally have joined the ranks of all the other pregnant women! I knew it was bound to happen, but I was not so thrilled about when it happened.

Yesterday morning we got up early and headed for the highschool. The girls basketball team have a tournament in the valley Thursday-Saturday and Trevor had to go, and I was invited to come along. I decided to go, because I really didn't want to be at home by myself for the next three days. In Payson we stopped to get a quick breakfast at McDonald's. The girls all know that I am pregnant and they were asking me how I am feeling. I told them pretty good. I don't really throw up, I'm just sick a lot. About one hour later the bus has to be pulled over for me to throw up. How embarassing. Of all the times, it had to be while we were with a ton of people. I hate to throw up, but now that I have had that initial throw-up over with, it's not so bad. I felt good all day long. If throwing up will make me not be nauseaus all day, it might not be too bad.

I told my mom about it, and she said, "Welcome to pregnancy."

Ugh ... I hated throwing up. I would always throw up at the worst times. I can't count all the times I had to run to the bathroom at work or stop in a parking lot on the way to work while I was pregnant. Once, I even had to run out in the middle of the sacrament in church to throw up. How inconvenient.

But, atleast it's all totally worth it!!!

That's too bad! I never had to throw up in an embarassing place (besides work)... but I did in very random places, like my driveway or backyard, or the sink everytime I brushed my teeth! But it really does make you feel better huh? And hopefully it won't last long for you. Just another month or two and you're done!

Well there may be light at the end of your tunnel! It will be 7 months from now. haha jk! I threw up a few times right at the beginning like you, but after that I wasnt nausious anymore and no more throw up. So there is hope for you that its over. The first time I threw up was when Kameron decided to make a brazilian soup or something nasty like that and the cooking garlic and onions and all the other stuff he put in it filled the condo...I went to Target, and that my friend is where I threw up for the first time. You better believe I wasnt happy with Kameron when I got home because if he hadnt of made that stuff...then I wouldnt have had to have my head in a public toilet...YUCK!!! Anyways, worst case scenario is that you are sick the rest of your pregnancy...no biggie. jk! Whatever you go through though, just remember..its SO worth it. There is nothing better than being a mommy!!

OH NO! I never threw up or even was sick too my stomache. The only time I was if I smelled certain things. Each of my kids were different too. With Tristen I could not stand the smell of cooking meat. Chicken, hamb, any kind. With Calli that is all I did was eat hamburgers! But I never was just sick--so I am sorry you are. It will pass soon though.

I know, it's hard for me to believe sometimes too! Honestly, delivery was the easiest part for me. They had me push 3 times when I was having a contraction, and I only did that during about 4 contractions...if that makes sense... it was over in less than a half hour. I had to have an episiotomy and I had been scared about that before, but I couldn't feel a thing when he did it and the healing wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be either. Honestly, I would just recommend getting an epidural... you don't get a cookie or an extra reward for toughing it out...so if you're in too much pain, let the nurses know! That's just my opinion :)

I had a little different reaction to this than everyone else. I thought, "Lucky Taytum, I want to have morning sickness." Just remember next time you have to throw up in front of people, somewhere in CT Lindsey is jealous you are puking.
