I can't believe how fast things can change in the little world of Brody. He has gone from just laying and cuddling to a kid on the move. He does everything in fast forward. He still is just scooting with no belly off the ground, but I am pretty sure thats just how its going to be. He is going to skip the actual crawling and go into the walking stage.Lets see, what else is new? Well Brody's first tooth popped through a few weeks ago, and along with it he was sick for the first time in his life. Because of being sick, I wasn't really sure if he was cranky because of the tooth or from the not feeling so well. Luckily he didn't get too sick. We just put a humidifier in his room and waited it out. We knew the doctor wouldn't be able to do anything more than what we did, so we didn't bother going to him. Tooth number 2 popped up this week, and Brody seems to be handling that fairly well. He has been a little cranky here and there, but not bad at all. N
ormally he sleeps all through the night, but he woke up and stayed up for a couple hours one night. Other than that, all went well.

e did it again without me watching that day, but I finally caught him in the act. He gets on his side and then pushes himself up. Trevor finally witnessed him doing it today. It takes a lot of effort, but he can do it!

It takes a lot of effort, but he can do it!Another milestone has been standing up. He will pull himself up with our help, but now Brody stands up whenever anything is in his way. He will just climb right over the top of us. I am just waiting for the day when he falls backwards and smacks his head on the floor. That won't be so fun.
Cheesy grins are the best new thing. Anytime we get out the camera this scrunched little face all of a sudden appears. It cracks us up everytime. It is so stinking funny.

Oh my gosh, he is getting so old! And way to go on him not getting sick for so long...that is a MAJOR accomplishment!

Im glad you finally posted! it was good seeing you and the brody #2! you should start bathing him in the tub, it's much easier! i bathe both mine in the tub! 2's a task, but well worth it!
How fun! I love when babies start to get around. Cade went straight to walking without crawling. It was actually kind of miserable for all of us. (When he fell down in the middle of the floor he couldn't get to the couch to pull himself up). Good luck-and keep posting pictures of that cutie!
He is so darling! I can't believe how all our babies are growing up so fast! And he already has teeth!! I'm still waiting for the arrival of those darn things with Kiehra.

I can't believe how fast they change. It never ceases to amaze me! I can't believe he goes from tummy to sitting all by himself...it just seems like such a huge feat for them to accomplish you know? sadie hasn't done it yet, but i can't wait! it's all so exciting! and teeth! i can't imagine the toothless grin becoming not so toothless anymore...that's just crazy.
