Do all pregnant women getting down to the final stretch go into a slight panic about being ready, or is it just me? Trevor asked me if we have everything we need, and I was kinda like, "Um, yeah, we could use a few little things....but I think we're okay...." Then it hit me this week. I have six weeks left. That's it. I don't even have ONE pair of socks for this kid! I have the blanket that came with his bedding and then another small crocheted blanket someone made for me and that's it. No receiving blankets, no quilts....nothing. Not to mention 50 million other little things I started to think of.
Just slightly panicked. Probably not a big deal, right? We'll be fine, but I just feel like time is running out..............

it's ok, as long as you feed him he'll be fine!lol it helped me to make a list of everything (nesesities on top) and check em off one i had em. have you had your baby shower yet? i got most of the things i needed at mine so i really didn't go shopping till after that.
I know how you feel. I am keep thinking we need this and this....
But I am am just waiting for my shower, then I will make my final list of to get list. Have you already had your shower?
I know what you mean, It feels just like yesterday we were getting married, but at the same time it feels like it has been forever.

I would say to you: get all the recieving blankets you can!! (Can I get your address?) We used those things like they were going out of style with grace. I guess it's still pretty warm where you are but babies generally like to be swaddled...Jeff's mom made us 10-I think-and I did half and half on the boy/girl colors, I couldn't wash them fast enough! I would also say make a list of all the things you think you will need, then run though the list and get one or two things a week, this will help pass the time:) I always get so impatent the last 10 weeks:) Yes, you were right about the girl. We could not believe it!! We just expected to have a boy again. Anyway, you will be fine and I can't wait to see pictures of this little guy!! :) He will be here in no time!

We had blakets coming out our ears!! We got a ton made and given to us when the babies were born. Plus there were always some that I couldn't resist buying.
But I was always worried that I didn't have everything before the baby came. I wanted to be ready. Things will will all fall into place though.
But I do understand.... Heck I start worrying about school clothes shopping for the kids in June. :)
